Trafalgar Theatre
Whitehall / Trafalgar Square · Central London
Trafalgar Theatre occupies a Whitehall building whose restored interiors draw on its 1930s design. Formerly the Whitehall Theatre and later Trafalgar Studios, it returned to a single auditorium after a major refurbishment, reopening in 2021. It should therefore be discovered as one theatre, not as two current studio venues. Close to Trafalgar Square and Embankment, the theatre combines a central location with a comparatively compact auditorium and a changing programme of live productions.
