Sondheim Theatre

Soho · Central London

The Sondheim Theatre is the Shaftesbury Avenue playhouse formerly known as the Queen’s Theatre. Opened in 1907, it was designed by W. G. R. Sprague as a pair with the neighbouring Gielgud and took its present name after a major refurbishment in 2019. This is a useful listing for visitors exploring the West End’s historic theatre cluster. The operator’s current seating plan is essential when choosing between the Stalls, circles and loge positions.
