Palace Theatre

Soho / Cambridge Circus · Central London

The Palace Theatre occupies Cambridge Circus at the junction of major West End routes. Opened in 1891 as the Royal English Opera House, it later became a music hall and built a long history of musical theatre. The 1,434-seat Nimax venue is now associated with Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Bars, snacks and cloakroom facilities support the visit, while the production's current booking information should guide plans rather than older accounts of its format.

Plan your visit

Use the official current production page to confirm format, date, running time, age and effects guidance. Review seating restrictions before paying and arrange access seating directly with Nimax when necessary. Do not assume an older two-part itinerary still applies.

Performance-led opening. Check your chosen event and arrival instructions; box-office hours are not general visitor hours.
